WELCOME TO ROBERT & KEBA GUNS DOWN PENS UP, INC.
Robert & Keba Guns Down Pens Up, Inc. is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3), legacy-based, survivor-led nonprofit rooted in Brownsville, Brooklyn. We work to prevent gun violence and community crisis while promoting healing, literacy, wellness, mentoring, leadership, and family stability. Our youth prevention and mentoring work primarily serves young people ages 10–24, while our community resource navigation and referral assistance supports residents and families of all ages.
Current services include community resource navigation, agency referrals, outreach, community events, and scheduled CPR/AED and basic life-saving education. We are expanding our youth and family programming through partnerships, funding, and access to a consistent program location.
